Copy Paste Productions

was founded on January 30th, 2007. The naming of Copy Paste comes from the most common function used in computing, including video and photography production.

The three founding members of Copy Paste are proud alumni of Indiana University. During their time at IU, they worked as a team at Indiana University Student Television. Not only participating in IUSTV, they also worked on other
projects together, including documentaries, sit-coms, and television commercials.

Jeremy Adams

Jeremy comes from the small town of St. Paul, Indiana.  During his collegiate years at Indiana University, he found a love for video production while working with student television.

After college, he started working with Copy Paste.  His favorite memory from working with the team involved leaving an important piece of equipment behind.  "We were a very long way from home.  We kept cool and found a way to make the production anyway."  The teamwork and camaraderie involved with Copy Paste is very important to Jeremy.

If he could shoot video of anything, Jeremy says he would love to shoot a popular band for a live concert.

Outside Copy Paste, Jeremy spends a lot of time outdoors.  He loves to golf, hunt and fish. His favorite television productions include Entourage and Family Guy.  His favorite video game is Mortal Kombat.

Jesse Wallace

Typical students attend school to be educated. But not Jesse Wallace. Jesse Wallace educated his school. At the age of 14, Wallace approached the Greencastle High School principal and convinced him to integrate a television class into the curriculum. His early interest in video production left little room for guessing Wallace's future career.

During his time with Copy Paste Productions, Wallace has participated in many shoots. Pinpointing a favorite project is difficult for him, but deciding what he likes about the production process is an easy task. "I love embracing the 'team' factor in all of our work", he says. "Not one person is more important than the next."

Wallace strives to provide his colleagues with opportunities to work within the field they study, including video production, editing, and photography. He believes it is important for the team members to showcase their unique talents and passions. He adds, "Everyone involved on a project is essential for it to succeed".

Wallace is so dedicated to Copy Paste Productions that he has little time to pursue other interests. With what little free time he has, Wallace loves rooting for the Indianapolis Colts and playing cards. In the future he would like to produce and direct an independent film, or live direct professional football games.

Brian Wertz

Brian has always been a Hoosier at heart. After graduating from Waldron High School in a class of sixty-four seniors (the largest graduating class in ten years) he attended Indiana University. While visiting his sister at Indiana State, Wertz sat in a television production class and it was there that he decided what career path to take. Video production interested him from that day, and on into the future.

Wertz shoots many different projects throughout the week that range from the popular motorcycle enthusiast production Steel Horse, to various assignments for the morning news segment of WISH-TV Channel 8.

Picking a favorite shoot is difficult for Wertz because of the variety of projects he has to choose from, but while shooting for Steel Horse, a show for motorcycle aficionados he commented, "I see people giving time and money for those less fortunate. When the beneficiaries of these motorcycle rides express how the contributions make them feel, it is very touching."

Brian has many hobbies outside of Copy Paste Productions, including watching sports (his favorite topic), playing golf; and athleticism.

Not only does Wertz enjoy implementing production techniques; but he enjoys watching them as well. The popular sports show Around The Horn is one of his favorites, and playing collegiate basketball-related video games are part of his spare time.
When Wertz was asked what he'd like to shoot if he could shoot any subject, he responded, "College football games rule my playing field".
